Exercise Therapy

EXERCISE THERAPY

Exercise therapy is a key component of injury recovery and can be provided by our physiotherapists, kinesiologists, or Movement Specialist, Nicole Ruel. This therapy involves the prescription of exercises tailored to address specific impairments, improve mobility, build strength, and enhance neuromuscular control. At its most basic level, exercise therapy is essential for the rehabilitation of muscle, ligament, and joint injuries. More advanced exercise therapy focuses on sport performance, muscle strength, and power, helping prevent future injuries and boost physical performance.

If you’re seeking exercise therapy for an injury, we recommend booking an appointment with one of our physiotherapists. They will assess your condition, review your exercise history, consider your access to equipment, and design an exercise plan tailored to your needs and stage of recovery.

For those looking for a long-term program or structured home exercise plan, we suggest working with our Movement Specialist, Nicole Ruel. Nicole specializes in movement performance, strength and conditioning, and sports nutrition. With 8 years of experience in the U.S. working with athletes, she is certified by organizations like NSCA, Barbell Rehab, Rehab-U, NASM, BCRPA, ACE, and ISSA, making her well-equipped to help you reach your performance goals.

Nicole Ruel is offering the following services through partnership with Yellow Door Studio:
