Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow, known as "qi" or "chi." The underlying concept of acupuncture is based on the idea that imbalances in the flow of energy can lead to illness and discomfort.

An Acupuncturist will begin your treatment by inserting needles into specific points along meridians (energy pathways) in the body, they can restore the balance of energy and promote healing. These points are believed to be associated with specific organs and functions in the body.
